An exciting opportunity has arisen within Northamptonshire ICB for a dynamic Resilience Operations Officer.

**Salary**: Band 6

We are looking for a proactive person to join a new team within the ICB.

The post holder will be required to deliver a varied portfolio of work, delivering the services required of the Local Operations Centre, the Strategic Vaccination Operation Centre and monitor the flow of patients through the urgent and emergency care system.

The post holders will work with colleagues within the ICB and with system partners across Northamptonshire and the Midlands Region on a wide range of responses including
- Vaccination programme
- Urgent and emergency care
- EPRR

The post holder will be required to work outside of standard working hours and at weekends as part of a rota.

The team is made up of 5 Resilience Operations Officers, who support the ICB with a number of functions:

- Surge and patient flow
- Covid and flu Vaccination programmes
- EPRR
- Single point of contact for the ICB

You will benefit from exposure to operational roles which will enable you to develop experience.

The role requires working from the office and working from home when you are rostered to work weekends.
- Be the first line of escalation for surge management and Covid 19 vaccination queries
- Monitor the flow of patients through all parts of the urgent and emergency care system
- Monitor and manage relevant mailboxes in accordance with the requirements of the role
- Support the team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects are effectively planned, efficiently managed and delivered within the required timeframe
- Support and inform the targeting of resources, effective monitoring, implementation and informed evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder engagement and management
- Ensure accurate, informed and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects
- Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
- This role will be required to work outside of standard working hours and at weekends as part of a rota and is exempt from the current agile working policy
- The job description and person specification may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the Department and the organisation.
- Providers of NHS funded care in Northamptonshire are effective in delivering the Urgent & Emergency Care agenda, and in specific, surge management provisions
