As a Administration Assistant in our department at our Bournemouth Hospital, you’ll provide knowledgeable administrative and practical support to nursing and clinical staff, to standards and timescales required whilst using empathy and customers service skills to build relationships. Through great communication and IT skills. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration.
**The Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity to support the Radiology team to deliver a quality service to our stakeholders. As our Administrator you will:
- Facilitate the Image Exchange Service ensuring transfer/receiving imaging to and from other departments/hospitals
- Support the current Administration team in managing appointments
- Assist the Administration Team Leader to ensure that the clinical workload is up to date and accurate.
- Work closely with clinicians, medical secretaries and the Radiology team
**The Person**
To succeed as an Administrator, you will need:
- Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills
- Be accurate and methodical
- Have the ability to priorities and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner, whilst working under pressure and to deadlines.
- Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and colleagues
