Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrator/Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of our medical practice. This is a part-time-time position based in our office in St John's, Woking.

**Duties**:

- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and technicians
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with billing and claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care plans
This role is very extensive and will involve many aspects of working in Primary Care. The role will involve working within both our small NHS Administration team and our small Private Administration Team

**Skills**:

- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
