We have a great opportunity for a Senior Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. This a full-time role, which can be undertaken on a hybrid working pattern from our site in Inverness.

**What YOU will do here at LifeScan**:
Working in our Data Analytics team, you'll be responsible for sourcing, organizing, and presenting data of a complex nature into meaningful insights that resonates with the business strategy of supply-chain stakeholders.

This position requires a balance of skills across metrics and performance management, as well as data and reporting. You'll use a variety of analytics tools (Tableau, Hubble, SQL) to develop new and automate existing dashboards, KPI's and business reports across Planning, Distribution, and Customer Service.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Gathering data from a range of different data sources, and analysing this data into actionable results by calculating metrics, preparing scorecards, and dashboards to feed supply-chain KPIs for performance management
- Supporting cross-functional projects by providing meaningful data and metrics to different stakeholders across the organisation, including Planning, (Demand and Supply) Distribution, and Customer Service
- Consolidating and preparing deliverables to support recurring performance review meetings with different internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring data governance processes are followed; working closely with the master data team and IDT to drivesimplification of data generation, management of processes and systems.
- Supporting the Analyst team to fully document all their processes and definitions
- Supporting and developing less experienced team members in preparing and executing ad-hoc and recurring analyses, and encouraging a drive for business knowledge in all supported processes within Supply Chain
- Increasing technical knowledge and experience in engineering data (sources it, brings meaning to it, and improves its quality) and sharing that knowledge across the team
- Collaborating closely with Technology and peers across the end-to-end supply chain, as well as with external partners
- Driving enhancements to the End-to-End process by using data to make recommendations to stakeholders which will accommodate customer requirements

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you'll be a problem-solver with a strong background in performance Data Management within a high-volume service environment. Quality. You'll also have a degree in a relevant business discipline, but a strong combination of education and experience is also fine too

You'll also have knowledge and experience in implementing Lean and Six-Sigma techniques in a Service environment.

- Project management skills and experience
- Mentoring and coaching skills; able to train and develop other team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practice principles
