**Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor**

**Salary: £34,500 per annum**

**Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich**

**Hours: 40 hours per week; 7am** - 3.30pm Monday to Friday with on call responsibilities every 1 in 3 weeks**

**Contract: Permanent**

Acorn Park is a residential Special Educational Needs (SEN) School, set within a 30acre private estate. We educate up to 107 young people across the breadth of the autistic spectrum and ensure they live, learn and play in a holistic, happy and safe environment.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

**Job Purpose**

The Maintenance Supervisor will contribute to the growth and development of the service. Accountable for the delivery of quality, efficient, collaborative support services to the Care and Education teams. The Maintenance Supervisor will have line management responsibility of the maintenance team and for delivery of:

- Approved projects on site
- Reactive maintenance and Pre planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Contractor/contracts approval and reviews
- Site Safety and Compliance
- Asset Management
- Vehicle Management

The Maintenance Supervisor with the support of the Facilities Manager and the Acorn Care & Education Central Team will undertake a full review of the existing estates and make recommendations on how to best deliver services including identifying clear deliverables and efficiencies.

The Maintenance Supervisor, with the support of the Facilities Manager, will be accountable for site safety, health and environmental compliance and will support the Business Operations Manager in the continued development of best process and policy.

**Qualification required: General building maintenance qualifications and a background in trade. IOSH, Electrical qualification are desirable.**

**Essential Criteria**
- Relevant experience of leading and supervising a team
- Experience of leading and managing maintenance projects
- Experience of costing work, purchasing and working within budgets
- Good knowledge of maintenance practices including the use and storage of relevant products
- Good knowledge of devising and implementing effective systems of working
- Driving licence
