Sonderwell are recruiting a Senior Residential Children's Support Worker in Swaffham, Norfolk on behalf of a client who operate residential children's homes throughout the UK. The children's homes are rated 94% Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and are looking for people like you to join their brilliant teams.

If the answer to all the above is 'yes', then this Senior Residential Support Worker role in Swaffham could be perfect for you.

The role involves:

- Teaching independence - Using life skills, you will assist with the care of our children and young people, including practical aspects such as cooking and cleaning
- Making a difference - You will be committed to making a difference, supporting children and ensuring their education is supported
- Guiding Staff - Within this leadership role, you will not only ensure the welfare and care of each child but also give guidance and support to all residential workers
- Giving Structure - Consistency and organisation skills are key. You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people
- Supporting Behaviour - You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support
- Creating relationships - You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times

We need you to:

- Hold a full UK Driving License
- Be aged 22 or older
- Have Level 3 Residential Childcare
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people
- Have the passion & motivation to work alongside children that need care and support to succeed
- Be able to work evening & weekends as required as part of a rota system
