**Job description**:
This is an exciting opportunity to become specialised in the Facility Management arena. The Core Support role will be situated at RAF Fairford but also include responsibilities for RAF Welford. The role is interesting and challenging with no two days being the same. It will provide a daily sense of achievement in accomplishing our newly empowered teams’ outputs in this exciting and dynamic arena whilst supporting the regeneration of the largest Strategic Bomber Base in Europe. This is a great chance to get your foot in the door in a Facility Management career with very good prospects for promotion in both Facilities and Project Management.

Support execution and delivery of the new DIO Maintenance Contract for Planned and Reactive Maintenance to ensure a compliant estate is delivered and maintained. Support the Senior Estate Facilities Manager (SEFM) and Estates Facilities Manager (EFM) on the management of maintenance contracts to provide maximum and effective service delivery for USVF customers.

Support both the Core SEFM and EFM’s on all aspects of contract delivery, including maintenance and update of supporting documentation and processes. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders including DIO, USVF and Industry Partner colleagues in support of issue and works resolutions with accompanied risk management.

Provide back-office support to Core SEFM and EFM’s in delivering the new Base Maintenance Contract. This will include carrying out document collation, retrieval and recording. Arrange, attend and record meetings where required. A limited amount of assurance works will be required in support of the Core teams’ objectives.

Provide direct liaison support with other AWS, Stewardship and BST support officers by becoming the focal point for collaborative works between all Stakeholders across the contract delivery requirements.

**1. DIO Core Services Team & Corporate Support**

Familiarity of MOD standards and systems through attending training and briefings/presentations; familiarity with DIO Base Maintenance Contract and supporting processes; achieve and keep up to date with all DIO Statutory & Mandatory training, adherence to process and promotion of adherence for USVF and supplier stakeholders; attendance at DIO corporate meetings and events as appropriate; supporting both the SEFM and EFM’s on specific task-driven objectives including delivery of all contracts whilst facilitating surveys and site visits

**2. DIO Maintenance Contract Support**

Support SEFM and EFM’s in collaboration with AWS, Assurance, Contracts and BST colleagues on progression of contract mechanisms including Compensation Events; Early Warning Notices; assisting with Business Cases for Host Nation funded work as well as Contract Amendments; maintenance and regular update of supporting documentation and trackers to ensure accurate monitoring and progression of Core issues and tasks; support the Core team on maintaining, updating and verifying Level 2, 3 & 4 Asset Data; support Core, Assurance and Contract team on monitoring and progression of assurance and compliance activities

**3. Stakeholder Management & Issue Resolution**

Developing and maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including USVF, the Industry Provider and DIO colleagues; adherence to and promotion of JSP375 and Safe Systems of Work; Familiarity with Health & Safety risks: Supporting the SEFM and EFM’s at meetings as required for DIO Base Maintenance Contract through provision of data and information; support on Core Services workstreams as required; supporting liaison with end-user and suppliers to ensure service delivery and resolution of issues
