Co-curricular Administrator

**Brighton College** is seeking to appoint a**Co-Curricular Administrator (Dance)**on a full-time or part-time basis (term-time). This role will provide day-to-day administrative support and assistance for both the Assistant Head (Co-Curriculum) and the Director of Dance. In return you will receive a competitive salary of **£22,500 - £24,500 per annum**(based on full-time, term-time hours - to be agreed).
**Key responsibilities as a Co-Curricular Administrator (Dance): **
- Undertake administrative duties as directed by the Assistant Head (Co-Curriculum). Draft letters to parents and collate permission slips for a range of co-curricular events. Help manage the online co-curricular platform (SOCS) and the Parent Portal (MSP) including the termly scheduling and communication of various co-curricular events. Assist with the scheduling of future events in relation to termly calendar meetings. Assist with administrative tasks across the performing arts departments, as directed by the Manager of Administration Team (Senior School).
- Assist the Transport Manager in booking buses and coaches for certain events and trips. Work with the Director of Dance to effectively communicate Dance School information to parents, pupils and College staff to ensure the efficient and professional operation of dance lessons. Work with the Director of Dance, key College staff and external providers to plan and manage Dance School Examination Sessions, Assessment Days, Parent Watching Days, in-house performances and the Annual Brighton College Dance Show.
**What we are looking for in our Co-Curricular Administrator (Dance)**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. Demonstrable administrative experience. Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to effectively manage your own workload and work in a fast-paced environment. A friendly and personable manner, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the College. The ability to show initiative and be proactive. Experience of working in an education environment and/or front of house would be advantageous.
