Concept Fertility Clinic is a fully comprehensive fertility service based in Putney, south west London. We pride ourselves on offering a bespoke service to patients who are seeking fertility treatment or testing and our priority as a team is always to provide the best possible service to our patients.

This is a very special journey to be part of and we are seeking an individual to become a Patient Co-ordination Team Administrator.

**1. LINE RELATIONSHIP**

REPORTING TO: Patient Co-ordination Team Manager, Nurse Manager

**2. JOB SUMMARY**

To provide administrative support for patients, before and after their Consultation with a Doctor and throughout their treatment cycles. We consider the welfare of the children yet to be born as well as the patients having fertility treatment so there are many medical, timing and legal issues and documents that must be in place. The administrators must be able to answer patient enquires, book necessary appointments and documentation accordingly and escalate to the clinical team as needed. Their role does not end when treatment commences but they should continue to work effectively with the clinical team.

**3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaise with other professionals and healthcare providers to allow for patients to have a smooth treatment cycle
- Communicate with all staff
- Answer general enquiries from patients and perspective patients
- Book patients for necessary appointments
- Raise invoices and/or collect payments from patients as necessary
- Liaise with Nursing and Medical staff in the co-ordination of patient’s treatment
- that generates from the portal
- Answer patient messages through our patient portal, scan and file all paperwork relating to patient appointments and treatments
- Check registration paperwork received from patients and ensure appropriate documentation and actions are carried out
- Have an awareness of infectious screens and additional tests that patients require prior to treatment
- Action patient histories completed by the clinical team ensuring clear documentation
- Involvement in consent meetings, caseload meetings and also clinical meetings including action points from these meetings

**4. QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS**

The person taking up the post must:

- Have attention to detail
- Have good communication skills
- Be used to working in a busy environment
- Have an awareness of the treatments and services offered by Concept
