Linen Mill Studios in collaboration with Warner Media, have developed the world’s only licensed Game of Thrones Studio Tour at their Banbridge studios where a significant proportion of the globally renowned series was filmed.
Through a superlative interactive experience, this brand new ‘world-class’ attraction hosts guests in fantasy and intrigue surrounding the series. An unparalleled presentation of original sets, costumes, and artefacts, together with insights into the skills applied in creating Game of Thrones, will deliver an exceptional experience and understanding of the quality of production in what remains one of the most watched tv series of all.
Amberstone Security provide Linen Mill Studios with a high-end security service and team. We have a team based at Line Mill Studios and we play a pivotal role in ensuring that the safety and security of Game of Thrones guests is at the fore of guest experience and that the Tour and site has robust security measures in place.
We are looking to grow the team at Linen Mill Studios and are currently recruiting for exceptional Security officers, for Game of Thrones Studio Tour. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a committed and enthusiastic team, We welcome people who are professional, cheerful and will ensure guests are enchanted by the tour and safe within its environment. Ideally with visitor attraction or have strong customer facing security experience to work 4 on 4 off on a rotational basis.
Current available positions are:
**Dayshift Officer - **07:00 - 17:00 / 07:00 - 19:00
**Location**: Linen Mill Studios / Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Banbridge, Northern Ireland
**Pay**:£11.00 Per hour
**Main Responsibilities**
To support the visitor experience team members within the Studio Tour when necessary. Provide a visible presence to ensure a safe and secure environment, but also to have a responsive security presence across the whole Linen Mill Studio complex.
You will be expected to carry out the following tasks.
- Always maintain a professional approach, attitude & appearance
- Providing customer service support across the Studio Tour, ensuring the higher risk theme rooms and valuable items are prioritised
- Provide customer focused security to the retail store, restaurants and staff areas of the Tour
- Provide strong overall security across the Linen Mill Studio complex as required
- Manage effective search processes on visitor egress, ensuring the security of the site is not compromised
- Liaise with the Studio Tour Head of Security and ensuring the Tour guests enjoy the best possible experience
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to not cause distress
- Completing colleague and contractor searches when required in line with customer company policy
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
- Detailed and Legible incident reporting to assist the Client and Local Authorities
**The Person**
To meet the standards required of this prestigious location, you will need to be a confident communicator as you will be required to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. You will need to be welcoming and patient with guests and able to handle conflict in a professional manner.
**Required Experience and Qualification**
A valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV License is required to be able to fulfil these roles. Previous experience of working in a Visitor Attraction or strong customer facing Security Role is desirable and an advantage but full training will be given.
