**Administrative Assistant (Maternity Cover)**

Are you an ambitious, motivated school/college leaver looking to take the first steps into an office role? This role offers a great opportunity to kickstart your office career, gaining admin experience in a range of areas, working alongside our admin team based in our head office in west Swindon to deliver excellent customer service for our dental practice teams.

**Hours**: Full-time 37.5 hours a week. Monday to Friday 9:00-5:00pm, with the option to work from home on Fridays.

**Salary**: Competitive

**Location and practice profile**: Whitehill House, Windmill Hill Business Park, West Swindon, SN5 6NX

**Academic or trade qualifications**:
GSCE 4+ or equivalent English and Maths

**Key responsibilities & duties**:

- General administration support to including printing, photocopying, scanning, filing
- Posting vacancies on job sites to support recruitment initiatives
- Printing, compiling and binding presentation packs and logbooks
- Ordering stationery and office supplies for our head office and practices when required
- Online purchasing of dental equipment, uniform and supplies as requested by our dental practices
- Recording those purchases on designated spreadsheets and shared drives
- Ordering gift vouchers for our dental practices when required
- Assist in ensuring that databases and other company systems, such as Perkbox, are accurate and up to date
- Helping to organise, support a variety of staff and corporate hospitality events
- Booking meeting rooms, staff travel and accommodation and managing refreshments for the Operations team.
- Helping maintain order and cleanliness in the staff kitchen.

**Work Experience and Skills**:

- Previous experience in an administrative or customer care role is desirable, but not essential as training will be given
- Confident telephone manner
- Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised and able to prioritise own workload
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Able to use your own Initiative
