**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Ensuring all relevant jobs for the day are completed
- Using a handgun to cover any unpainted parts of the products not covered by the automated guns
- Checking chemical levels are correct
- Recording powder usage
- Preparing powder drums ready to be used
- Cleaning down powder drums
- Cleaning down spray booth and all pipes and hoppers
- Reporting to your line manager any quality issues
- Maintain Health & Safety
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Using a hole punch and drawings to put hanging holes in products correctly
- Setting the correct jigs and using the correct size hooks to load products on a moving track
- Unloading of paint parts at the end of the track
- Setting paint tags using job sheets as a reference
- Assisting with a clean down in the paint booth
- Packing away of used paint boxes or delivered boxes
- Fettling, cutting, bending, gluing and swaging of products ready for the next days work
- Occasional warehouse work as and when required during quieter period

**About you**
- This person must work well as part of a team
- They must be used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and reading skills are vital
- It is important this person has a good eye for detail
- It is essential that the person in this role is physically fit as it will include a lot of lifting and working on their feet all day
- Maintain Health & Safety
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

**Key Skills**
- Hardworking and punctual
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Must have previous experience in a powder coating environment/industry
- Proactive, physically fit, quick thinking and a good problem solver
- Ability to read and write to a good standard and a quick thinker
- Observant with a keen eye for detail
- Forklift licence - advantage
