Female Support Worker

Female Support worker
Hours: 20 hrs per week
Days and times:
Hours will be worked from a Monday through till Thursday
Wage rate -- £12 per hr
Shifts will be: over 4 days, this will include dayshift, one early evening
Mon 5pm - 8pm
Other days will be 7am - roughly 11 am or 12
Previous experience working in the Care Sector is preferred.
The tasks you may be required to do will vary, according to my needs, and could include the following:
**PERSONAL TASKS**:
Help with dressing
Help with showering, Bathing
Help in and out of Bed - with
Will be required to assist the employer with cutting up her meals and assistance with eating.
Heating food - using microwave.
**HOUSEHOLD TASKS**:
These will be completed on a regular basis throughout the week
Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
Sweeping and Washing the floor
Household cleaning, which will include the bathroom, bedrooms etc
Changing Bedding
Occasionally going to the shops for the employer
**GENERAL TASKS**: Done as and when required
Reporting any faults with any equipment used, or any breakages
Evening tasks
- Some assistance with personal care
Assisting with changing for bed
Assistance going to bed
Locking windows and doors
Emptying bins
Emptying the tumble dryer and folding clothes
Empty dishwasher and put dishes
Put washing machine on.
Peg out clothes, weather permitting
You will be required to assist to cover other staff A/L and sickness, as they will be required to cover your leave.
Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.
