The Role

We are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced individual to join an established team within our Estates Strategy - Infrastructure Optimisation (IO) Team. You will be involved in a wide range of exciting and interesting work, providing high level business support to senior leaders.

Experience and commitment to teamwork is essential, coupled with the ability to be individually motivated to ensure all areas of work are completed to a satisfactory standard. Holding excellent interpersonal skills, you will provide advice and support to colleagues, customers and DIO Stakeholders

**Person specification**:

- We undertake information gathering to support the Portfolio as directed by the Deputy Head of Estates
- Maintain folder structure on MS SharePoint for Programme deliverables.
- Maintain stakeholder lists
- Liaise with defence customers and DIO colleagues in relation to estate data and information gathering
- Proof reading and formatting of reports, to ensure consistency across the board and compliance with MOD requirements, prior to publication
- We produce report and PowerPoint presentation templates for use by the wider team
- Project Management tracking for all IO teams including CP&F (Financial Management)
- Play a key role in programme management and project planning - including the planning and manage the launch of studies, data gathering exercises and reporting activity.
- Develop and maintain the SharePoint library, filing, recording and reporting systems.
- Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the Portfolio teams.
- Arrange complex meetings and workshops and record notes/decisions.

**Desirable Experience and Skills**
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
- Experience of Programme Management including use of Microsoft Project
- Experience of senior stakeholder engagement
- Defence experience
- Experience in infrastructure / property management
- A full UK Drivers Licence
