Role description
Are you looking for an exciting development opportunity within the Engineering field?
Our apprenticeship programme gives you the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification & carry out workplace training in a challenging yet exciting manufacturing industry
**Responsibilities**:
Developing skills in different aspects of engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manual machining and fabrication) within a manufacturing work environment.
Gaining a sound knowledge of the plant equipment, facilities and processes.
Developing an understanding of Continuous Improvement.
Familiarisation with the company’s systems and procedures.
Sourcing and updating engineering documentation and inputting engineering activities into a maintenance system.
**Required skills / qualifications**:
Have an interest in manufacturing engineering and the drive to succeed.
Have strong communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
Have a high regard for safety, quality, compliance, systems and procedures.
A technical mind with a methodical approach to tasks and problems.
Have a minimum grade 4 (C) GCSE or above in Maths, English and Science.
What we offer
Salary Minimum Year 1 £13,365.84 - £22,913.16 Maximum Year 4
Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week., plus 26.5 days holiday + 8 statutory holidays
