Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Woods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on processing equipment, including drums, rollers, and conveyors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and prepare plants and chutes for shutdowns.
  • Patch up worn equipment using welding and other repair techniques.
  • Participate in a planned/reactive maintenance split, with a focus on proactive maintenance.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
  • Be available for call-outs to other sites, with fuel expenses covered by a fuel card.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Mechanical discipline or equivalent.
  • Apprentice-trained candidates are welcome.
  • Experience in an industrial, heavy metal, or dirty environment; waste industry experience is ideal.
  • Skills in welding and equipment patching are highly desirable.
Working Hours

Shifts vary, with the possibility of call-outs.
