Assistant Psychologist

**Job Summary**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The post extends across a range of pathways in Core CAMHS. The post holder will be working with a wide range of children and young people and will be expected to demonstrate good team working, organisational skills and ability to work with Children and Young People with Mental Health difficulties. The post holder will carry out and contribute to assessments for children and young people's mental health. They will also have to opportunity to contribute towards assessments and formulations around possible Neurodevelopmental conditions. They will support and run individual and group interventions under supervision and collect and analyse data for audits.
The Northamptonshire CAMHS service has strong professional links across the county including links to Clinical Psychology Doctoral programmes in Leicester, Oxford and Birmingham.
