**JOB ** **OVERVIEW**

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to be part of our marketing team in our Head Office in Inverness. The successful applicant will be passionate about creating a consistent identity across the business working closely with the Digital Marketing Coordinator.

**KEY ** **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Take ownership of how the MacGregor Industrial Supplies brand is applied internally and externally by creating, developing and maintaining a consistent brand in line with the company vision.
- Participate in the development of a marketing strategy for the business and coordinate with all divisions and branches to ensure successful implementation.
- Design, build and maintain website content.
- Manage social media accounts and content.
- Design visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers.
- Produce design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
- Produce marketing materials for external events such as exhibitions or trade shows.
- Consult with all relevant division and branch managers to create appropriate content ensuring they are informed and have approved before publication.
- Encourage and contribute to the growing marketing and brand strategy at MacGregor Industrial Supplies.
- Initiate and produce recommendations to the Senior Management Team using professional experience and knowledge.
- Provide regular updates and reporting metrics on current and future marketing initiatives.
- Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Must be able to demonstrate previous experience and success working in a similar role.
- An understanding of the principles of marketing/design and up to date with current practices across traditional and digital channels.
- Excellent written English with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Expertise in designing content for various media channels.
- Able to manage and give direction to third party agencies.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to manage and prioritise own workload, often working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work, both in terms of changing priorities and hours required.
- A passion for graphic design and a desire to develop the company’s brand identity.
- Good knowledge of Adobe CC package (or older), Corel Draw, Office 365 and other graphic software would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of video recording tools and video editing desirable.
- Must be willing to undertake occasional travel to other branches.
