Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Control Specialist to join our team at RSE, a trusted clean water technology company. As an Automation Control Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems solutions for the Water industry.

RSE is a leading provider of market-leading products and solutions for purifying drinking water, recycling wastewater, and cleaning water in industrial processes. Our innovative approach and commitment to excellence have made us one of the most prominent MEICA engineering businesses in the UK water industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems solutions using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI/SCADA and Telemetry Systems
  • Implement robust change control during the project lifecycle
  • Develop and self-test control system software to achieve the required functionality
  • Assist the electrical engineers with the development of robust Control Systems Architectures

Requirements:
  • HNC/HND Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with particular emphasis in electrical, mechanical, electronic, automation and/or chemical discipline
  • Detailed experience in the design and commissioning of control and electrical systems associated with process automation
  • Strong working knowledge of process systems, P&ID control, and loop tuning
