Document Controller

Working hours are Monday to Friday, working 9am-5pm.

Hourly rate of pay is up to £15 per hour.

The Documentation Controller will generate and update records of basic approval, working and final documentation packages as well as compiling manuals and manufacturing data records for the most common products and standard solutions according to needs ofthe business.

This role requires the Documentation Controller to be responsible for the format and quality of the documentation in line with the corporate image guidelines.

This role will often require the preparation, modification, actualisation, and maintenance of a variety of documents and other relevant project records using MS Office products and the occasional printing and binding of hardcopies of final documentation.You may also be required to become familiarised with customer´s documentation protocols to submit and update formal documentation through customer´s portals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Create, compile or modify basic levels of documentation packages for Project Leaders.
- Ensure documents follow internal revision control procedures.
- Release of documentation packages directly to customers.
- Compilation of manuals and any other portable and composite documents using pdf software tools.
- Scan and PDF basic Manufacturing Data Records (MDR).
- Maintain the company’s corporate image, documentation standards and keeping records of documentation packages submitted.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year’s track record in a similar role in any engineering industry.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good at working within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Acrobat (or similar) products, e.g., Excel, Word, Publisher, Projects, Acrobat.
- Ability to handle dynamic workload and priorities.
- Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001) would be an advantage.
- Any experience in any Graphic Design packages such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Publisher, and/or basic Photo Edition skills are desirable, but not essential.
