Job Summary:

This position will lead or assist in the development, management, and enhancement of technology systems and processes related to the Quality Management System (QMS), including associated process tools and interconnected systems. Key systems and processes that require support from this role include document control systems, audit management systems, quality databases, intranet pages, and non-conformance and corrective action systems. This role will collaborate closely with the Manager of Quality Systems and Processes to understand requirements, develop or redesign processes, and implement systems to achieve these processes. They will oversee all or part of the defined changes, particularly those related to technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding the Business

Basic understanding of the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry and the processes necessary for delivering TIC services In-depth knowledge of CSA Technology systems and their interactions. Collaborates closely with peers in the Quality Management teams to comprehend quality systems-related metrics and data Works with colleagues in other functions (Operations, Technical Management) to understand the metrics and data needed to demonstrate robust quality risk controls

Collaborating Effectively

Ability to ask questions to clarify system and process requirements and directions. Ability to recognize social styles and cultural norms and adjust communications accordingly Capable of effectively leading a group of project stakeholders Maintains open lines of communication among all project stakeholders, tracking deliverables, milestones, and decisions regarding change requests and outstanding items Escalates to superiors when results, data, and information from others are overdue Occasionally accesses confidential information such as customer compliance status, audits, and internal staff non-conformance details Provides guidance and training to users of systems and processes. Acts as the first point of contact for internal customers with inquiries or issues related to processes or systems.

Achieving Results

Leads the development and enhancement of technology systems related to the QMS, including document control systems, audit management systems, quality databases, intranet pages, and non-conformance and corrective action systems Oversees and maintains the scheduling of internal and external audit programs. Coordinates the collection and presentation of QMS data for management and reporting purposes. Supports the coordination of global QMS communications and change management activities Responsible for the accuracy and quality of data, information, and communication materials related to quality systems and processes Provides options and recommendations to decision-makers, coordinates responses, and documents decisions. Regularly develops improved methods for systems and processes in delivering regional and global TIC results.

Immediately reports hazards, near misses, incidents, and observed unsafe acts and conditions. Demonstrates safe behavior and adherence to procedures Completes all assigned training events

Education and Experience:

2-year post-secondary education in a field relevant to CSA Group's core business is required Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics, systems, and process design and improvement Experience with management systems, particularly ISO Management System Standards and conformity assessment standards (e.g., ISO 17000 series standards) is an asset.

Skills:

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Project Management experience and certification is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey abstract topics to a diverse audience Expert working knowledge of data analytics and presentations Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, SharePoint, Power Platform, and project management, scheduling, and planning software (e.g., Smartsheet) Experience with Intelex is considered an asset
