**Job overview**:
Applications are invited for the above post from highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Practitioners with demonstrable post registration experience.

Evidence of post-registration training or experience in Infection Prevention and Control is preferable.

This is a part-time post working 15 hours per week.

**Main duties of the job**:
The post holder, in conjunction with the Lead Nurse and other members of the Infection Prevention and Control Team, will be responsible for providing clinical advice and knowledge about the prevention, management, monitoring and control of infection to Trust staff.

The post holder will be an experienced practitioner who uses specialist knowledge and skills to support the prevention, management, monitoring and control of infection to Trust staff.
