**Job overview**:
We are looking for a diverse range of registered health practitioners to join our expanding Adult Autism Assessment Team here in Cornwall. We are keen to hear from experienced practitioners who have a strong interest in autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. The role would be suitable for an Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Specialist Nurse or Clinical Associate Psychologist.

There will also be the opportunity for the post holder to participate in future planning and service developments within the Adult Autism Assessment Team, and in partnership with professional specialists from other associated neurodevelopmental services within the Trust.

**Main duties of the job**:
The post holder will be required to participate in the delivery of specialist autism assessments and advice for adults on the autism assessment pathway. The main areas of focus will be to:

- Participate in the provision of high standard, specialist assessments and advice to patients including those with highly complex presentations, and contributing to diagnosis on the ASD assessment pathway
- To participate in clinical governance and service development within the adult autism assessment team in partnership with professional specialists and other clinical leads.
- Participate in the planning and development of specialist services with the designated team
