**Job overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Psychosis services, this role will work within Early Intervention and Psychosis.

The role will be predominantly assessing within our criteria for First episode of Psychosis and those at risk of developing Psychosis

This role will require excellent commination skills to work within Primary, Secondary care and voluntary sectors.

**Main duties of the job**:
Job Overview
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment and identification of those at risk of
developing psychosis or a first episode of psychosis through use of specialist assessment.
To carry continuing responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of
recovery-based care programmes for those individuals who are experiencing or at risk of psychosis.
The post holder may be required to engage with a range of statutory and non-statutory services to
ensure a package of care is delivered to the individual and their family/carer.
Practitioners working with children and young people should have necessary training, expertise and
support in children and young people’s mental health, as well as the required competencies in
delivering EIP interventions.
Demonstrate expertise in identifying neurodevelopmental disorders in children and young people in
the presence of psychosis and make reasonable adjustments to their service, including
communication preferences, to facilitate vocational and educational recovery and social
functioning.
Participate with competence in safeguarding procedures and working with colleagues from social
care
The post holder will be required to take a lead in health promotion and teaching of other team
members and staff from outside agencies.
To take a lead role in team development, performance management and clinical audit.
