We are currently recruiting a Food Production and Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Fife College, Dunfermline Campus, Pittsburgh Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8DY

- Temporart contract until the end of June 2024, with the opportunity to move to an equated, permanent contract from August 2024.
- 32 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Shifts range between 7.30am - 2pm

What you'll be doing
- Responsible for the production of cold food in our central production based at Dunfermline Campus.
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Serving on the hot counter
- Food prep including preparing sandwiches, salads, paninis and deserts.
- Food production and service
- Operating the till, taking payments and keep any financial records required
- Restock Goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
- Clean back of house areas, crockery & cutlery using equipment when trained to do so.
- Clean and tidy counter and other public areas
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Undertake relevant training as required

Experience
- Previous kitchen experience/food prep experience would be beneficial
- Must be a reliable team player with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of Allergen law is essential
- Great customer service skills
- A DBS check is required
- Full training will be provided for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £12.00 per hour
