Do you aspire to be an AHP leader of the future? This role will give you a unique opportunity to work at an operational level across a regional footprint. We are looking for a highly motivated senior clinician, an HCPC or General Osteopathic Council registrant with a good understanding of the current workforce challenges across the Professions to support the delivery of AHP workforce priorities at regional and sub-regional level.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of AHP policy, and gain experience in HEE. Postholders will also benefit from mentoring and development from existing AHP Heads/Leads in the regional and national teams.
- The workforce transformation fellow will establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from a range or organisation (health, social care, voluntary sector, patient groups) and from a range of professional backgrounds.
- Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive, and contentious information from a wide range of sources, on which agreement or co-operation will be required.
- Ability to analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources.
- Will be required to utilise their proven ability to lead, empower and motivate others.
- Will be required to demonstrate their experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
- Will be required to demonstrate their capabilities of managing their own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight and often changing timescales
- Will be required to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

Secondments

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £54,223 with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.
