**Platform Resourcing** have partnered with a Financial Services based in **Tredegar, **near Ebbw Vale, who are currently seeking a **Compliance Officer** to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, and working with a Compliance Administrator to ensure the business is working in line with FCA regulations across collections, customer services, sales, accounts and IT within a regulated financial services environment. Ideally they are seeking someone from a consumer credit, lending or banking background, but open to other regulated industries.
You will be completing audits, file reviews, data analysis, rolling out of new policies and procedures when there is regulatory changes and have a real say in the policies and procedures within the business, working with board members to implement best practice. As a company of roughly 55 full time employees, you will make a real impact in your work and have autonomy to use your experience and initiative within the role, whilst continuously learning and developing alongside a supportive team.

- Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm - 2 days from home after your initial training

**Duties of the Compliance Officer** **Position**
- To assist the CCO to develop and maintain policies, processes, registers and MI reports to ensure the vital aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to and reported.
- To conduct routine monitoring, audit, review and root cause analysis, in accordance with the compliance monitoring framework.
- To be responsible for production of routine compliance & audit reports, as designated by the CCO.
- To manage/co-ordinate completion of remedial actions, identified through QA, Monitoring, Audit or root cause analysis, as required.
- To conduct routine monitoring, audit, review and root cause analysis, in accordance with the compliance monitoring framework
- To assist the CCO/Senior Management team in addressing findings from compliance monitoring reviews, audit programmes, complaints root cause analysis and other review/reporting mechanisms
- To provide input on regulatory training to the business
- Monitoring online compliance training
- Interpret regulatory requirements and implement practical, compliant solutions in consultation with CCO and appropriate Director/s.
**Experienced required for the Compliance Officer** **position**
- Experience of working in a Risk/Compliance role for an FCA regulated business, or experience of consumer credit/mortgages in a regulator or professional services role.
- Experience and knowledge of FCA Regulation & Data Protection Legislation.
- Degree and/or other appropriate professional qualification
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office software and in particular, Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise records
- Strong attention to detail
