Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a **Senior Philanthropy Officer **to join our Fundraising team.

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis with home working combined with 2 days/week on average in our London or Manchester office.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, supporting around 16,000 young people every year together with our partners.
It is a truly exciting time to be joining Centrepoint, as we work towards our vision to end youth homelessness by 2037. To achieve this ambitious goal, our Philanthropy team is dedicated to building a committed network of high-value supporters who share our passion for helping homeless young people and can drive this vision forward.

The Senior Philanthropy Officer will sit within the Philanthropy team, providing excellent supporter stewardship to help retain and grow a strong portfolio of donors. Building relationships with supporters who give £5,000 - £20,000 a year, the Senior Philanthropy Officer will also project manage a strand of the team’s strategy, as well as take responsibility for managing our Mid Value Donor Pipeline.

Sitting within a team of 4, the Senior Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in helping to further develop our team strategy - ensuring we remain on top of trends within the sector and prioritise innovative solutions to growing income.

**About You**
- Working experience in philanthropy fundraising or account management, with demonstrated ability to achieve key results and tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of inspiring, engaging, and informing supporters through various channels
- Outstanding relationship management skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members to create effective stewardship materials, proposals, and other working documents for circulation
- Creates an inclusive environment where everyone is valued and fairness is promoted and integrated into all activities
- Embodies Centrepoint’s values of integrity, energy, humility, entrepreneurial, accountable and focused

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Managing a pool of supporters who give £5,000 - £20,000 a year to Centrepoint
- Leading on an area of the team’s growth strategy
- Driving the team’s new business efforts through managing our Mid Value Donor Pipeline
- Contributing to further team success by creating high-quality reports, appeals and proposals
- Robust record keeping and data analysis
- Collaborating within Relationship Fundraising and the wider Fundraising department on supporter communications, experience and cross-team projects.
