The Senior Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in managing a portfolio of relationships with individual major donors, implementing and enhancing the major donor pipeline, and seeking opportunities for new support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major donors to secure significant funding for SSAFA's programs and services.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for major donor support, including partnerships and collaborations.
- Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the Philanthropy Team to develop and implement a comprehensive major donor strategy.
- Collaborate with other teams across SSAFA to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to major donor fundraising.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on major donor progress and achievements.
SSAFA is a trusted source of support for the Armed Forces community in their time of need. Our trained teams of volunteers and employees help over 53,000 people each year, including veterans, serving personnel, and their families.
