Our client was formed in 1991 and now 28 years later, they are a leading supplier of office furniture. They are a family run business that has been successfully trading since 1991. They are now looking to recruit a business administrator.
**Apprenticeship Standard**
Business and Administration Level 3
Job role includes:
- Answering the phone to customers and transferring calls
- Reading CAD plans to generate quotes; producing quotes and processing onto Sage
- Dealing with suppliers looking at alternative products for customer orders
- Administrative support for the client managers
- Monitoring and reporting on the vehicle defects
- Managing the employee online training matrix ensuring it is kept up to date and employees’ training is tracked.
**Who we are looking for**
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good telephone skills
- IT Literate
- Good organisational skills
- Previous experience desirable but not essential as training will be given
**Hours of Work**
Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
**Rate of Pay**
Apprenticeship Minimum Wage (£6.40 per hour)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £6.40 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
