ESM Power Ltd is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Administrator, working 37.5 hours per week at our Scunthorpe office.
To provide administrative support across all areas of the business including general administration, structured support for both the Customer Networks Business and Major Projects and ad-hoc support for the other business areas.
Established in 2002, we are a leading UK independent connections provider which offers a complete service to our clients for their existing networks and utilities connections. We manage all connections from the design and build of new electrical networks to the operation and maintenance of private electrical networks.
**About you**
You will be a highly motivated, proactive and flexible individual with excellent interpersonal skills, ready to make a commitment to our business. You should be able to work on your own, using your own initiative, as well as working well within a small, highly motivated team.
Based at our main office in Scunthorpe, and working in a team, you will predominantly support the Engineers in our Customer Networks business, however you will also provide administrative support to the wider business as needed. You will be a key point of contact for our customers, you must therefore have excellent customer service skills.
A team player, highly motivated and flexible, you will exercise initiative whilst working in a busy and demanding environment.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- To perform all duties in line with the Company’s HSQE Policies and Procedures
- To carry out role in compliance with polices and procures
General Administration tasks including:
- Answering the phones and dealing with reception duties
- Accommodation bookings
- Co-ordination of the published documents process
- Filing and archiving of all relevant documents
Support for the Customer Networks Business from the issue of quotations to receipt of purchase orders, scheduling of works, data inputting and invoicing.
- Preparing quote letters and issuing quotations
- Processing incoming purchase orders and setting up invoice schedules
- Scheduling works with customers and Engineers
- Deprogramming works and data inputting
- Oil sample processing
Support for the Major Projects Business from the issue of quotations to receipt of order, procurement and invoicing.
- Quotation process administration
- Obtaining quotations from approved suppliers
- Raising of purchase requisitions and purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.
To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the business
**Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years administration experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Provide eligibility to work in the UK
