The purpose of your role will be to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are consistently achieved within the food production and factory areas, ensuring health and food safety legal compliance and GMP standards are adhered to.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure customer and auditing requirements are met and all hygiene documentation is completed.
- Create and maintain a Hygiene Management System, ensuring trends are identified, reported and corrective actions implemented.
- Plan and assist with internal and external audits.
- To maintain detailed cleaning instructions and schedules for every hygiene activity that meet the requirements of the BRC food safety standard.
- Ensure all facilities are clean and maintained
- Planning and implementing deep cleaning and overhead cleaning schedules, working closely with the Engineering and Production requirement
- Manage staff lockers.
- Ensure all staff have a clear understanding and are meeting food hygiene standards.
- Maintain and improve hygiene standards and practices.
- Maintain training records to ensure all staff are competently trained and able to achieve targets.
- Manage stock and contracts for all cleaning and chemical products including PPE, equipment, and related services
- Cleaning of all equipment within the factory
- Cleaning and disinfecting on the production floor and around the facility, including (but not limited to):

- Ensure that the intermediate disinfection during production is carried out and documented according to schedule. This includes:

- Line disinfection.
- Disinfection of conveyors.
- Disinfection of cutters, roll bar, stacking rails.
- Removal and disinfection of transfer scraper.
- Disinfection of the cutting and stacking station
- Drains cleaning and disinfection.
- Re-filling of disinfectant containers.
- Filling of paper dispenser and other consumables

Essential Capabilities (Knowledge, Skills, abilities, and Personal Attributes)
- Previous experience working as a hygiene supervisor in the food industry is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure of time.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work across a variety of environments.
- High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Awareness of hygiene in theory and in practice.
- Good written and spoken English language

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
