Hygiene Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Harlesden

**Salary**: £15.00

Contract: 48 hours per week, predominantly Sunday to Friday 7am to 4pm.

The Hygiene Supervisor role is to control and participate in a variety of cleaning duties for a well-established and renowned biscuit manufacturer producing a range of products from their factory in Harlesden. Our scope of work across the site includes production areas and non-food contact equipment as well as facilities areas.

Reporting to our Contract Manager and working with our client’s management team, you will lead a team of up to 16 personnel with primary responsibility to ensure the manufacturing areas are cleaned to a high standard, and ensure that all work is completed to schedule, complies with hygiene, quality and safety requirements and is signed-off accordingly.

This includes further responsibility to:

- Communicate with key client personnel,
- Maintain and update documents and procedures,
- Ensure that correct equipment and materials are available to our staff,
- Ensure that waste material is correctly disposed of in accordance with the client’s environmental systems,
- Report to the client any issues that may impact upon the integrity of the clean,
- Ensure that the Hygiene Team are fully trained in relation to health & safety, hygiene and environmental issues,
- Carry out recruitment and training for your team as necessary,
- Submit timesheets and payroll information for your team.

Along with previous supervisory and cleaning experience (ideally gained from working within the food manufacturing industry) you will also require:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,

- A high standard of work ethics and an enthusiasm for a varied working environment,
- A flexible and adaptable approach to changing client requirements,
- A satisfactory ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel.
