Due to even further expansion we require more customer service operatives or claims handlers for our site based in Egham, Surrey, this is a hybrid role requiring you to work on-site 2 days per week.

We are not looking for previous claims experience; instead we are looking for people who enjoy being on the phone, talking to customers and delivering an exceptional service to those that they speak to. The ability to understand the basics of insurance terminology will be needed by full training will be given. You will join a team of more than 10 other front line call handlers who are always happy to help and support.

The role will include dealing with 50 - 60 calls per day as well as the database management associated with the claim information you take. You will need to have a good eye for detail, professional in your approach and have the ability to stay calm and empathise when required.

As a company we encourage training and development and staff are able to train for the Chartered Institute of Insurance qualifications if they so wish.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing customer relations
- Taking inbound and outbound calls
- Gather customer details
- Record information accurately on the company’s internal claim management system
- Provide customers with claim updates

**Experience/Qualifications/Skills**
- Eager and helpful approach
- Experience of using databases
- Keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Confident telephone manner
- Previous experience in a customer service role
