Oxford, United Kingdom Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Are you a registered Paramedic looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy working in a busy and varied environment? Would you like to develop your knowledge and experience of immunisations?

Come and join our expanding immunisation team.

We are looking for a Community Vaccinator (Paramedics) preferably with some immunisation experience to help deliver the School Aged Immunisation Programme in Primary, Secondary and Independent Schools as well as other community venues.

The ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the Service is essential, as is a willingness to explore alternative methods of immunisation delivery to reduce health inequalities in hard-to-reach groups.

The role offers a flexible working pattern, to meet service need, which will include weekend and evening working on occasion. You will be offered the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills through regular training and study days and by working alongside experienced colleagues.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset.

This is a fast moving and very busy role so the ability to work well under pressure and to be a key team player is a must. We are looking for adaptable, flexible people with excellent skills who will enjoy working in a challenging and busy environment.

To ensure that vaccination sessions commence on time you may need to start at 07.30 on prearranged days and also be able to work evenings and weekends. The ability to be flexible with ones working pattern is therefore essential.
