To qualify, candidates must possess a high school diploma, be a U.S. citizen, and hold Firefighter II and Ohio EMT-P certifications.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. Citizen with no felony convictions
  • Firefighter II certification from the State of Ohio
  • Ohio EMT-P certification or enrollment in a class
  • CPR and other required certifications
  • Valid state driver's license
  • 1-year experience in fire and EMS
