The City of Oxford invites applications for a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic position at Ohiofirechiefs. This role involves working as part of a dynamic emergency response team, responding to a wide range of emergencies and situations.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $75,730.54 and $89,094.75, with compensation based on years of service for lateral entry candidates.
Requirements and Qualifications- To be eligible, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be a U.S. citizen with no felony convictions, and hold a valid Firefighter II certification from the State of Ohio.
- Additionally, they must possess current Ohio EMT-P certification or be enrolled in a class, as well as hold CPR and other necessary certifications.
- A valid state driver's license and at least one year of experience in fire and EMS are also required.
- Candidates will participate in a comprehensive evaluation process including physical ability testing, an EMS Skills Evaluation, Background/Truth Verification Exam, and a Peer Interview.
