Full Time Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd, providing vital support to young children with Autism at a Specialist School in Oxford.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students, working collaboratively with our team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support students with their daily routines and activities, promoting independence and self-confidence
- Assist students with their academic work, providing guidance and encouragement
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, promoting social skills and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and implement effective teaching strategies
- Supervise and engage with students during lessons, ensuring their safety and well-being
Your Experience and Qualifications:
- A strong passion for working with young people with Autism and a commitment to delivering high-quality support
- Experience working with children, especially those with Autism (desired)
- Graduates in related fields (e.g., Psychology, Criminology) or backgrounds in arts/music/sports welcome
- Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in meeting the diverse needs of students
Key Information:
- Salary: £85-95 per day
- Start date: ASAP
- Full-time or part-time options available
