Applications are invited for the above post to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support for department staff and activities undertaken in the School. This role may involve supervision of other members of administrative staff.

This is a demanding role and will involve considerable flexibility and the ability to prioritise tasks in order to deliver administrative support for the academic community within the department and wider community. The post holder’s role will be to ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with academic, administrative and external customers at all levels, to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day activities.

You will need administrative experience of working in a customer orientated environment, experience of supervising staff and coordinating work activities, excellent organisational, analytical and problem solving skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as possessing good digital literacy skills. You will also have experience of providing information, advice and guidance to staff and other individuals.
