A UK leading independent flooring wholesaler supplying flooring products to trade customers, distributors, and retailers across the country.

**Job Purpose**:Manage the trade counter, generate and process new sales and follow up leads as necessary. Answer phone calls from customers and deal with problems as they arise.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Manage the trade counter; increase revenue and work towards KPI’s.
- Process orders, allocating stock and dispatching sales to customers ensuring a smooth and efficient process is maintained.
- Liaise with the customer and reps to advise them that stock is available when required.
- Manage customer expectation on stock availability.
- Liaise different departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Review pending orders and specific customers’ requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience.
- Upselling products
- Office work inclusive of scanning, photocopying & trade counter cash sheets/banking
- Working towards KPI’s
- Update all contact information for clients
- Exert attention to detail, as customers may have the same problems; report the problems as necessary
- Ensure you work in line with company values, goals, polices and procedures
