**LOCATION**: Summit Avenue, Farnborough, GU14 (near to Fleet Spurs/Motorway)

**Essential Requirements**:

- _To be competent in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel_
- **_This role will require you to be flexible with your working hours due to cover requirements_**
- This is a hands-on cleaning supervisor role, you will be required to undertake the cleaning to ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard, undertaking but not limited to: spot cleaning carpets; Cleaning: Offices, Meeting Rooms, Kitchen areas and Specialist Workshop, Atrium & floor cleaning.
- Must be prepared to use and train staff on various pieces of cleaning machinery, including but not limited to: T3, T5, Multi-wash, Scrubber/Dryer, Swing Buffers, Rovawash etc
- Support the Account Manager and Daytime Site Supervisor to deliver the Hygiene and Environmental requirements on the contract
- Organise and lead the evening team ensuring that the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA's agreements in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Deal/address with staff issues/concerns and record appropriately
- Ensure that staff, are fully aware of the level of expectations/standards required to meet the contractual needs
- To actively promote and support management and participate, in developing and delivering the team day to day training and ensure your own personal online training courses are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are being adhered to at all times
- To manage and control issuing and usage of cleaning materials on site, making sure that the correct cleaning materials are used for the task in hand
- Report all accidents and / or potential hazards to the Account Manager and MITIE Lifeline
- Deal with Customer complaints immediately and in a professional manner
- Adopting the clients “Don't Walk By Attitude” report any damage or defects to the Helpdesk and Account Manager and log where appropriate
- A flexible approach to the job role is required
- Motivate and develop the staff to encourage good team spirit, healthy work ethics and a culture of high performance
- Assist the Account Manager: maintaining accurate attendance records; ensuring that the signing in/out register is updated, populated and sent nightly
- Conduct equipment condition audits highlighting defects to the Account manager, ensuring faulty equipment is out of reach to operatives until deemed safe to use.
- Ensuring that all equipment stores and materials storage cupboards are kept clean, secure when not in use, in compliance with COSHH, CHIP.
- Undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may be required within the Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description
- Adhere to Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures on site and to MITIE's policies and procedures.
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post

JOB OBJECTIVES
- Support the Account Manager and the Site Supervisor to deliver Hygiene and Environmental requirements on the contract at BMW Summit One
- Organise and lead the Evening Cleaning Team, ensuring that the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA's agreements in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor work performances to ensure the correct standards are met and that they are working effectively within the company's safe systems of work
- Keep open lines of communication between the Cleaning Operatives, other Supervisors and the Mitie Management team
- Empowering and motivating your team by your actions, developing healthy team relationships, promoting ownership of the Business Goals

- This is a part time post: 5 days per week, minimum 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6pm-9pm
- Must have a flexible approach to the role
- Demonstrate good decision-making skills in a timely and confident manner
- Drive for continuous improvements in service delivery, ability to generate novel and creative solutions to challenges with progressive outcomes
- Ability to consistently promote and maintain high standards of quality of work
