**The Role**:
**Assignment: 3 Months**
**Rate of Pay: £12.58 per hour**
**Hours: 24 per week, Monday - Friday - (Flexible Hours between 8:30am-5:30pm)**
**Location: Benton, Newcastle**
**Working arrangements: Work from Home or From the Darlington Office**

You will build good working relationships both internally (with your team and peers) and externally.
**What your primary duties can include**:
- Engaging in management of assets by collecting and processing data, through office based activities, to ensure the required standards are met and maintained.
- Provide routine analysis and interpretation of data. Prepare basic reports, identifying concerns and providing a first level response to support asset management activities and decisions.
- Monitor progress of work ensuring that asset maintenance and projects progress in line with plans and comply with required policy. This may involve monitoring subcontractors, identifying risks, and feeding back effectively.
- Coordinating and chasing responses to correspondence and enquiries, ensuring that internal and external information is effectively processed and tracked to ensure compliance with Environment Agency policy and procedure.
- Maintaining good customer focus. Act as a point of contact, working with peers internally and local contacts externally to help minimise the risks associated with our assets.
- Operate and maintain data and information systems effectively. Ensuring records are stored accurately, are up to date and readily accessible to facilitate team activities.
- Roles may provide support to team members in delivery of larger projects.
- Strive to produce work that is of the highest quality and look for ways to help others
- Strong administration skills
- Confident in using Microsoft Packages
- Good Literacy/Numeracy skills
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills both oral and written
- Be a strong rapport builder who is able to establish relationships with others (within the team and internal/external stakeholders) quickly and easily
- Be proactive, taking ownership and accountability for decisions and commitments
- Have the ability to solve problems and be resilient
- Have strong planning and organisational skills
