Job title: National Decontamination Lead

Starting Salary: £40,000

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Location: Mobile throughout the UK

As a National Decontamination Lead you will be responsible for:

- Providing expert advice to clinicians and senior managers
- The management of all decontamination equipment, including safe systems of work.
- Writing and updating of all relevant policies, SOPs and guidelines as required
- Conducting regular Decontamination Team Meetings that focus on development and continuous improvement
- Undertaking regular relevant training (online and face-to-face) to continuously develop and update skills sets
- Working closely with the Unit Managers/Lead Nurses & ODPs to ensure appropriate audit processes are in place and followed consistently

What you'll bring:

- Endoscopy Decontamination procedures and management experience
- Prioritising conflicting demands successfully through developed organisational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of HTM 01-06 and other relevant documents
- Managing, leading and inspiring a team by objectives
- Engaging and motivating team members
- Operational management in a healthcare environment
- Commitment to continuous professional learning
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Please note this role will require you to have a full UK driving license and hold a decontamination qualification e.g. Technical Certificate/HTM Manager course/Endoscope Decontamination Manager Course
