Full time office-based role
£23,000 -£25,000 per annum
Based Kingston upon Thames

Fantastic opportunity to join a small team of specialist recruiter with the IT industry. You will be providing support for the UK (Kingston upon Thames) and Edinburgh and European office (Brussels)

Responsible for the payment of IT contractors who have their own businesses and contract globally for large well known corporate clients in the UK and globally (i.e. Price Waterhouse and Capgemini)

Sharing an office with one of the Directors in a serviced office building in Kingston.

Payment Calendar
- g., Contractor payment paperwork in end of March then will be paid in the next 3 working days at the beginning of April. (Contractors have their own ltd companies so it is all B2B administration
- Busiest period - first 2 weeks of each month per month.
- Payments in sterling and multi-currency to contractors

Non-Payment Calendar
- Same process as above but payment is 30-day terms for different companies (contractors throughout the month)
- Compliance administration - passports for Right to work (attention to detail) ensuring passports are not out of date, to check and ensure contractor (company details are correct ) check for missing information and discrepancies. No referencing
- A fast-paced role with quite a high volume of invoices in the first 2 weeks of each month.
- Quieter in the last 2 weeks of the month.
- Use Excel extensively, Xero and CRM database

**Key requirements**:

- Good excel skills
- Strong attention to detail - accurate with ability to spot errors, discrepancies or gaps.
- Common sense and initiative
- A fast and efficient worker with a keen eye for detail
- Strong work ethic, hard worker, highly motivated and self-motivated.
- Assertive and resilient - when liaising with some difficult or abrupt contractors.
