Bristol, United Kingdom Manor Community Full time

**About the role**

Reporting to the Directors, the HR Manager is part of a small team and will work with stakeholders, which could include Service Managers, Recruitment Manager and others as and when.

The job holder will manage a range of HR transactional activities, to include disciplinaries, investigations, absence management, employee relations, employee engagement initiatives, and recognitions and reward arrangements.

Experience gained in a care company environment is an advantage but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-minded, professional HR practitioner to work with like-minded individuals in making a difference within this award winning community care company.

You are likely to be a HR Manager or very much ready for such a role, but to be transparent, some of your key tasks and responsibilities are set out below:

- Providing expert advice on employee relations, conduct, performance management, grievances, probation reviews and change management.
- Supporting and coaching line managers through the company absence management procedures.
- Work closely with line managers, providing them with advice, guidance and coaching in line with the company policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment to ensure a consistent and fair approach is adopted.
- Support organisational change, restructuring and development where needed.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues and communicate HR best practice.
- Ensure personal continued professional development is undertaken to keep up to date with latest legislative changes.

**About you**

Confident, articulate and personable, you will have energy, drive, enjoy working at pace. You will be proactive in approach and can demonstrate where you have made a difference.

You will hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or studying towards this. You may already be a HR Manager in a smaller business and ready for more of a challenge, or you may be a good HR Administrator ready to take the next step. Certainly, you can demonstrate success in your current role and can add value to our company.
