**Recruitment Advisor**

This is an exciting opportunity to join the trust at the beginning of a journey of transition to develop and grow the Catholic Academy Trust from 10 schools to 68 schools by 2030. As the Trust HR Recruitment Advisor, you will provide the delivery of a proactive, effective and efficient recruitment process. You will undertake a range of end to end recruitment activities supported by our new iTrent recruitment system. This role is key to supporting the development of the Trust Recruitment strategy, ensuring that safer recruitment is adhered to, supporting our Schools to manage their recruitment requirements and developing our employer brand.

- Have a professional CIPD qualification at Level 5 or above
- Have a strong recruitment background
- Be a confident communicator (written and oral)and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Have proven experience of delivering results using innovation and expertise
- Have experience using an iTrent or an HRIS system for recruitment.
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively, especially under pressure.
- Be accurate with attention to detail and able to set and meet deadlines
- Be flexible in approach and confident in providing guidance, support and advice to our Schools and Line managers
- Understand the difference a great education makes to our pupils’ lives
- The role will be predominantly office-based at Trust Head Office with some work undertaken at schools within the Trust and some opportunities for flexible working. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is necessary to fulfil this role for meetings at schools._

**Recruitment Advisor**

**Grade 8**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead on the management of recruitment workflow and processes with the HRIS iTrent system throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Develop relationships with recruitment agencies to support ongoing recruitment demands.
- Provide proactive and on demand support and coaching to line managers across the school portfolio ensuring full compliance with the recruitment policy.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of our recruitment strategy, including development of the employer brand, attraction methods and materials, assessment and interview methods and selection criteria.
- Maintain awareness of current employment and other legislation and developments within the education sector and wider, affecting recruitment. Ensure changes are made to the current policies and procedures and applied across the Trust.
- Provide advice to line managers in effective recruitment methods developing their capability and confidence.
- Support the ongoing development of the HRIS iTrent and act as a Superuser and point of contact for schools in regard to recruitment.
- Review and assess the Recruitment metrics data provided by iTrent making recommendations for action and improvement as required.
- Undertake ad hoc projects as directed and contribute to relevant Trust-wide working groups.
- Liaise with and build relationships with Education trade union representatives.
- Seek at all times to be effective and efficient and to enhance the quality of the overall service which the Human Resources team provides.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**

CIPD qualified to level 5

Experience of working in high volume Recruitment

Experience of working with an HRIS (iTrent Desirable) for recruitment

Experience of designing and delivering recruitment training

Experience of creating recruitment materials

Demonstrable record of working flexibly and using own initiative

Experience of working to pressure and tight deadlines

Experience of creating and developing an attraction strategy/approach

Ability to cope with volume and complexity in a busy HR environment

Demonstrable administrative and organisational skills

Keeps up to date with current employment legislation and developments.

Highly effective interpersonal skills.

Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Office packages

Experience of developing an employer brand for recruitment purposes.

**Salary**: £38,223.00-£44,428.00 per year
