HR Advisor / HR Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor / HR Officer to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on HR policy, staff planning, health/absence, employee performance, and application of labour law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive advice on operational issues and balance personnel and business economics.
  • Contribute to an agile workforce with a focus on people and results, initiating and leading improvement projects to optimize performance.
  • Work within applicable legislation and frameworks, assisting in Payroll Management / Benefits Administration / Absence Management.
  • Advise management on day-to-day HR matters, managing the onboarding process of new employees and managers.
  • Preserve and improve efficient HR Procedures & Policies, recruiting and labour market communication.
  • Organize employee training & career development plans, facilitating employee communication.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 (minimum) or CIPD Level 5 (ideal) or on track to become qualified.
  • University Degree preferred or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Relevant work experience in HR, experience in a controlled financial environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, experience with proactive implementation of processes and projects.
  • Knowledge and experience with Payroll, proven success at employee and manager level.
  • Experience with recruitment and selection, knowledge of employment law and regulations.
