**_Duties and Responsibilities _**

They include all work normally covered by that job title or as otherwise directed by your immediate manager. In particular, you shall carry out the following:

- To assist in the preparation of excellent quality food: peeling, chopping, cutting and supporting the chefs whenever required
- To wash and dry kitchen pots and utensils and to ensure their proper storage
- To ensure that the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- To clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
- To sort, store and distribute ingredients
- To assist in stock-taking and storage, including checking deliveries
- To report any problems to the shift leader or to one of the directors
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
- On performing your duties, exercise them with due diligence and loyalty such knowledge skill and expertise as may be reasonably be expected of a person carrying out such duties
- From time to time, you may be required to take on other duties of which you are capable in addition to or in place of your normal duties

- To be able to work independently and as part of a team, to be willing to learn
- To be able to work efficiently within a busy high-pressured kitchen
- Highly organised and punctual, driven to learn in a busy environment
- Excellent attention to detail

Great understanding of the importance of health and hygiene

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
