In your role as Asset Quality Officer, you will be responsible for the quality of all parking kerbside assets to ensure they are fit for purpose, compliant and enforceable.

You will help to deliver a functioning fit for purpose parking infrastructure that can cope with the demands of a complex inner London borough and the competing objectives.

In addition, you will also play an integral role in parking policy and parking strategy, playing a pivotal role in creating new schemes which will have the Council's climate and ecological plan at its core.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- To be responsible for the quality of all parking kerbside assets to ensure they are fit for purpose, compliant and enforceable.
- To manage third party contractors in the gathering or data, technical/ condition surveys, imagery, GIS and spatial data.
- Create manage and maintain a full spatial (GIS) based asset register including but not limited to, signs, lines, CCTV cameras, P&D machines, Traffic Management Orders and parking activity data.
- Create and manage a virtual parking infrastructure in sync with the real-world parking infrastructure
- Liaise with Highways to instruct works on asset changes/maintenance/installations.
- Liaise with parking projects to instruct works on changes to Traffic Management Orders.
- Provide insight into parking asset usage such as, compliance, occupancy rate, profile of users, complaints, non-enforceable actions.

You will need:

- To lead or assist in any root cause analysis exercises in any upheld or partially upheld complaints relating to unenforceable assets.
- Liaise with other services and divisions such as IT
- To use computer terminals (which may be desktop handheld. Fixed or mobile) to input information to, and access date from, spatial databases and mobile communications equipment such as mobile phones or two-way radios, and other technology as required to carry out the duties of the post.
- To support the Council’s role in planning for and responding to civil and council emergencies using skills /expertise of the post holder, and in accordance with Council emergency procedures. To provide emergency contact details for the purposes of emergency and service continuity plans.
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post.
