Providing a range of administrative and project support functions essential to the provision of Ambulatory Care across community hospitals. To also provide secretarial support to the Business Manager for Ambulatory Care.

The Ambulatory Care team consists of business manager, matrons, service leads, nursing, HCA and administration professionals. We work closely with other Trusts, private providers and other partners, to gain care closer to home. The business manager is also the lead for the medical devices within the directorate covering, IP, Ambulatory Care and Urgent Care. The post holder will be based at North Cotswold Hospital, Moreton-in-the-Marsh, however it will be necessary for the post holder to travel, on an infrequent basis to other sites within Gloucestershire to support Ambulatory Care Team.
- To provide an efficient, comprehensive clerical, administration, project and secretarial service processing information for the Business Manager, to ensure consistency across the service area.
- To provide full secretarial and administrative support service to the business manager providing general administration, answering telephone calls, taking messages, setting up and co-ordinating meetings with multi stakeholders, diary management, travel arrangements, filing, archiving, ordering of office supplies, scanning, and photocopying as required.
- Assist in making changes to processes and ways of working as required to support Business Manager and the Ambulatory Care team
- Take notes, actions at meetings, organise reports for meetings. Organise and support meetings as required including maintaining confidentiality
- Chasing and collating information for the business manager, including research into how other ambulatory services are provided and improved.
- Working with the Ambulatory Team to support/suggest improvements to local policies and working practices.
- Working independently with mínimal supervision to ensure all duties completed in a timely manner.
- Take the administrative lead on data collection regarding medical devices across all the community hospitals. Including working with the administration leads for each site to ensure data is cleansed, accurate. Ensuring that all documentation for purchases is collated and presented for approval in a timely manner.
